Who are we
Dear Black Girl is a transformative initiative dedicated to empowering Black women and girls through healing, personal development, and education. Our mission is to support those who have experienced deep trauma by fostering self-discovery, building resilience, and inspiring leadership from the inside out.
We create spaces that nurture emotional wholeness and equip participants with tools to thrive in every season of life. In addition to our development programs, we provide annual scholarships and academic resources to Black girls entering high school, college, or post-graduate study — ensuring they are supported both personally and academically as they pursue their goals.

Where do I start! Dear Black Girl has been the foundation I needed in catapulting me into healing and understanding. DBG has given me the strength to seek therapy, nurture relationships, give grace and understanding as well as building my confidence! I am so proud of myself for taking the initiative in joining this beautiful platform. Thank you Quiana for being the vessel, the MUVA; birthing this amazing project. You’ve provided me with resources, knowledge, and inspiration. You’re full of experiences, I trust your input and know it’s all love. You’re so genuine and thoughtful. I enjoy hearing you speak. It’s always so colorful, a little animated and really vivid! Not to mention funny! You have a way of being comical while still getting your point across. You’re able to articulate your thoughts and honor your feelings so well. I strive for your level of awareness. Thank you for being relatable and real. Life is a journey, I’m so grateful for you and DBG being placed in my path. Much love ♥️

Was an awesome experience. From day 1 it felt like a family environment, which made it so much easier to open up. The overall program is designed to help you reach levels of life you would never touch otherwise. I loved everything about it. My favorite moment was when we had to look ourselves in the mirror. It opened so many doors to healing. I'm still in contact with most of the women who were apart of our cohort. If given the opportunity for a more advanced class I would definitely take it
